Deniliquin Events Calendar

Playing host to more than 100 events each year, Deniliquin has something to offer everyone!

From farmers markets, to singles festivals and fishing competitions, there is always something on the calendar.

The event Deniliquin is famous for is the Deni Ute Muster Play on the Plains Festival. Held each year on the NSW Labour Day Long Weekend, it attracts more than 20,000 people to listen to high-profile country and rock singers, experience a full-blown rodeo, as well as the Australian National circle-work championships. Each year the Ute Muster also attempts to break the Guinness Book of Records title for the largest parade of legally registered utes in the world, as well as the most number of blue shearers’ singlet’s worn in the one place.

Deni also hosts the Deni Matchmakers Festival, a festival dedicated to singles finding love, each year in March, while those a little more interested in fishing for Murray Cod and Yellowbelly can join in the Deniliquin Fishing Classic competition in February each year.

To experience some of the best fresh produce the region has to offer, the Naponda Farmers’ Market is held on the second Saturday of every month, while the Deniliquin Jockey Club hosts a number of country horse race meetings a year.
